Jazmine LaCour is the founder and force behind Bomb Braids School, a passionate educator, celebrated braider, speaker, and author who is transforming the beauty industry with heart, purpose, and inclusivity.

With a strong foundation in braiding and natural hair care, Jazmine built her career on excellence, creativity, and community. Her artistry and dedication have earned her features in major beauty platforms like Bronner Bros., where she’s been recognized for her innovation and leadership.

 

But her story goes beyond styling—Jazmine is an advocate for inclusive education and a role model for aspiring entrepreneurs.

 

 

Why She Created Bomb Braids School

 

Bomb Braids School was born out of Jazmine’s deep desire to create a space where everyone feels seen, supported, and empowered to learn. As the mother of a daughter with Autism, Jazmine saw firsthand the gaps in traditional learning environments—and the power of inclusive spaces designed for all abilities.

 

That’s why Bomb Braids School proudly includes SPED (Special Education) staff and is fully committed to all-inclusive education. It’s a place where youth and adults alike are given the tools to succeed, regardless of their background or learning needs.

 

 

A Safe Learning Environment for Every Student

 

Jazmine has woven compassion into the foundation of Bomb Braids School. Her youth programs feature transitional social-emotional learning (SEL) to support young learners in not only gaining technical skills but also building confidence, resilience, and a sense of belonging.

 

Her work reflects her values: inclusivity, empowerment, and authenticity.

Jazmine is also the proud author of Amadahys Affirmations—a beautiful children’s book created to uplift young readers through daily positivity and mindful self-talk. As a powerful speaker, she shares her journey to inspire others to embrace their uniqueness, pursue their passion, and lead with purpose.
